Who is behind The French Boudoir? New

bridal headdress
is curious. I have spent almost a year with my vintage jewelry project ... and I think that I have not submitted yet!

My name is Beatriz, I'm Madrid and I have a habit of trying everything that comes to my head. guess that's why I do, besides my usual profession, to design, assemble, display, photograph all parts of the collection Vintage Jewelry The French Boudoir. As you can see, in the absence of models, but I had to pose to show some of the hits:)

very tiny Since I have loved the craft and all that glitters. So it was natural that I fell in love with 19 years of Swarovski Crystal and all its creative possibilities. I was lucky enough to teach me to make pieces woven in a small craft store in France, and since then I separated from my pliers, my glasses and my thread.

But there came a time when the world of the brightness I was little, and started experimenting with silver, the gold-plated semi-precious stones. At the same time, started to find "little treasures" scattered markets around the world: broken earrings, j Oyas old they would condemn the cast because they were just pieces of the original design, rosary beads, crystals polished and broken chains. So with great patience, a lot of glue and a lot of experimentation, I tried to reuse these pieces to create new ones. With each new discovery I fell in love with a new era, a certain type of design, and I decided to return its value to these forgotten pieces.

I always thought that our history is the sum of all the stories that came before us . And I think the jewels are able to transmit love, excitement and adventure of the past, so for me a gem old, broken or "dirty" (as they say a friend who accompanied me to hunt antiques) has much more value than a shiny new design . Maybe it's because I know that with a little care and effort these pieces again to shine. And I can not help but wonder what the women felt that they took earlier. Were they happy? Did you happen to live a war or hardship? Did you find love or be resigned to a marriage of convenience? Were adventurous, happy and outgoing? "They knew all the juice out of life?

So gradually I love the vintage world I concluded that my favorite season is the 50 (the dresses are spectacular, and Le Petit Vintage I found one that is going to be mine) and I found that could not be happy if he could not unleash my creativity. The French Boudoir why condenses all these years of discovery, hands stained with the dust of the markets of all the countries I have visited and to return home happy to have found some outstanding broken left in the cupboard of an antique. And that explains why my pieces are limited editions as .

shortly will be the first anniversary of The French Boudoir, and would not have been possible without your support. For now, I'm uploading our new models to the shop and I'm working hard in the collection for brides. Hope you like it as much as I do it!
